About

  • I'm a New York City makeup artist who is slightly (OK, really) obsessed with makeup and skincare. I have a full-time job at Sephora, the ultimate candy store for kids like me. I also do freelance work in my free time, when I'm not researching other obsessions. I firmly believe looking good should be fun - and should take as long as you want it to take (sorry, husband).

Emmanuelle

Thanks for the great tips, Lynn! I live in DC where we sweated like crazy today and didn't realize that another layer was actually necessary to keep "everything" (!) in place.

When you come to think about it, there's the moisturizer, sunscreen, primer (I use Smashbox, but ready to switch), foundation, powder... + perhaps a little matifying gel like Lancome T control gel to prevent shining like a bowling ball. Your blog is great: I could read and chat about makeup and creams for hours, just love it.

Don't forget Clarins! We have FIX' Make-Up...it's Grrrrreat!!!!! Mom
